The domestic violence issue: the NFL is just the tip of the iceberg

Last week, as the NFL / Ray Rice story developed into a much larger issue about domestic violence issues and we saw the #WhyIStayed trending on social media, Hershey Cause Communications helped position our client Sojourner Center on the topic in local Phoenix, AZ media.

Fresh out of her media training session with the Hershey Cause team, Dr. Maria Garay, Executive Director of Sojourner Center, appeared on the local CBS affiliate’s 10pm news discussing the reasons why women often remain with or return to abusive partners.
