HCC Celebrates 2015 With the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce

HCC attended the L.A. Area Chamber of Commerce 2015 Inaugural Dinner, one of the city’s premier business and civic leadership events. Wallis Annenberg of HCC client The Annenberg Foundation was honored with the Civic Medal of Honor, and Rachel Etherington, CEO of HCC client AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles was installed on the Board.

HCC joined client Kaiser Permanente’s table which was front and center as William Caswell, SVP Operations and COO of Kaiser Permanente, was inaugurated as the Chamber’s 2015 Board Chair.

“We were honored to celebrate with friends and partners whose civic efforts are driving progress in L.A.,” said Chris Hershey. “Clearly, Los Angeles is being driven by innovative cross-sector partnerships, the business community, the philanthropic community, and the public sector. We are proud to work with all three.”

The evening also featured athletes participating in the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles this summer, which will be the largest sports and humanitarian event anywhere in the world in 2015, hosting 7,000 athletes and an anticipated 500,000 spectators.
