Transformative AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

Last month Hershey Cause Communications joined a full house to mark the official ribbon cutting of AltaSea’s downtown San Pedro offices. AltaSea CEO Rachel Etherington shared her vision for redeveloping an historic 35-acre dock at the Port of Los Angeles into the only urban, ocean-based ideas and innovation center in the world. In addition to HCC Founder and President Chris Hershey and two staff members, attendees included Councilman Joe Buscaino, Port Commissioner Anthony Pirozzi, and San Pedro Chamber CEO Elisa Swanson.

AltaSea will bring together science, business and education to generate innovative solutions to global sustainability issues while breathing economic vitality into San Pedro and the surrounding harbor communities.
